    Worth every franc!

Definitely the best screen I've had (previously Dell U3415W). Ideal for productivity with 3+ windows next to each other. Very wide and despite 60hz also comfortable for games.
Very good connectivity (use the screen on a
Mac Pro 2012 and a MacBook Pro), switching works absolutely smoothly. The only desirable feature would have been integrated speakers or at least a speaker passthrough.

    Pro

    • Extremely high resolution with pleasant pixel density
    • Very good selection of inputs and settings such as automatic input switching
    • Very even picture (practically no backlight bleed!)
    • Charges notebooks at 90W (tested with MacBook Pro 15" 2016)
    • Integrated USB hub
    • Programmable buttons to quickly switch between inputs
    • Easily adjustable despite size
    • You could live in the gigantic packaging :)
    • According to the system info, 10-bit colours do work via USB-C.

    Contra

    • No speakers (debatable, but for the price I would have expected that)
    • USB-C cable is only 1m long, this with a screen width of 120cm!
    • Design of the stand is questionable (matter of taste),
    • Hole for cable routing is a bit too deep, so you can see the cables from the front (depending on height)

If you are not a gamer with high demands on speed, you can be very satisfied with this monitor, even as a "casual gamer".

Equipped with a Windows and a Linux PC, I bought this monitor despite its explicit "non-gaming suitability", and after successfully connecting it to both PCs, I watched a few games. The configuration was 5120x1440x60Hz+vsync in "normal mode" (8ms pixel switching time). Some games can't use this width (black bars on the left and right), but many can (an appropriate graphics card is of course a prerequisite). My conclusion: In principle, you can also play PC games with this monitor if extremely fast image changes are not important (I have not tested any first-person shooters).

If you only work with an "integrated INTEL graphics chip set", the following tip may be helpful under Linux: wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/intel_graphics#Tearing

I connected the Windows PC via DP, the Linux PC via HDMI. If you shut down W. and start L. at the same time, the monitor does not reliably recognise the input signal change. - Press the monitor's off switch once for a long time, then again briefly, and then it works again.

Setting up the monitor was easy, but ideally you need a second person to lift it safely out of the packaging.

The workmanship is tiptop, the picture is flawless, and the amount of space it takes up on the table is moderate.

I can recommend the monitor all round.

    • Simple assembly & connection
    • Very good picture
    • Simple operation
    • good workmanship

    Contra

    • does not always recognise an input signal change automatically (special case)
