The AMD X570 high-end chipset supports AMD's Ryzen 3000 processors (codenamed Matisse) and their complete feature set, most notably the PCI Express standard version 4.0 (PCIe 4.0). PCIe 4.0 is downward
compatible and can be used with all expansion cards of previous generations. Per PCIe-4.0 lane a data transfer rate twice as high as PCIe 3.0 is possible, so that an NVMe-SSD connected via four PCIe-4.0 lanes can achieve a theoretical read/write speed of up to 7.8 GB/s. Each motherboard with the X570 chipset is also suitable for all other AMD CPU series for the AM4 socket.
