Product details

Cable splitter (network doubler) / Connector: RJ45 CAT5 / Coupling: 2x shielded RJ45 CAT5 / suitable for 10/100 Mbit network connections / metal housing / must always be used in pairs (2 adapters) / Color: Gray.

The connection doubler allows two Ethernet lines to be run over a CAT cable (cable-sharing). This is possible because half of the wires in the network cable are not actively used. The cable splitter consumes no power but must always be used in pairs – one at each end of the line. The first splitter combines the 2x RJ45 sockets into one cable, while the second splitter separates them back into 2 outgoing RJ45 sockets. Not suitable for Gigabit LAN or PoE.
