The thermometer features a housing made of galvanized steel sheet with a diameter of 63 mm. The measuring system operates on the principle of a bimetallic spiral, which directly affects the pointer via an axis. The temperature can be read on an aluminum scale with black lettering, protected by a glass cover.

The housing has an IP51 protection rating and can be used in temperature extremes from -30 to 80 °C. The installation position is arbitrary. The device is mounted using a brass protection tube with a diameter of 12 mm and a G 1/2 Form A thread according to DIN 3852/2. The immersion tube outlet is axially directed to the rear on the back of the housing.

Since no additional auxiliary energy is required, the device is ideal for energy-saving temperature measurement. It is insensitive to ambient temperature influences and can be universally used for local temperature measurement.
