    Disappointing

    I had expected more. Above all, that the reception would be better. The fact that the stations have different frequencies depending on the region is nothing new. But the interruptions are so frequent that you can rarely listen to a song in one piece. If the connection is established, the sound is perfect (thanks to the AUX cable). It can't be the antenna, which is mounted vertically in the upper right-hand corner of the windscreen.
    The sound via SD card and AUX cable is also perfect. The unit displays a maximum of 570 titles, but then counts on: 571/570, 572/570, and so on. From 1000 titles, the counter goes back to 1, but plays title 1001. There would still be room to improve the use here: more titles, more options in the display. Just for information: I use 2 SD cards (16 and 32 GB), both work.
    Otherwise, the small device offers many possibilities.
    Conclusion: DAB+ reception poor because too many interruptions. SD card is the only reason I'm keeping the device. The card saves me from having to burn CDs with mp3 files. If I had known this beforehand, I would have chosen a cheaper model.

    • Wobbly rotary switch, likes to skip tracks/stations
    • Many cables: power, AUX, antenna
    • Antenna cable does not hold despite adhesive, substrate is cleaned
    • Very often interruption in reception
    • Station scan deletes stored stations
    • Often no radio text (and no reception)
    • Valley = Radio hole = no reception
    • Titles on SD card are only sorted by albums, but albums are jumbled (not A-Z)

    Good but with potential for improvement

    The device basically meets my expectations and does what it is supposed to do. The sound quality is good (only use the AUX output) and I can now listen to DAB+ in the car and make hands-free calls. However, I was slightly disappointed by how cheap the casing and controls felt.

    The reception quality of the stations can be displayed, which I appreciate. The person on the other end of the line hears an echo on his side when talking on the phone, but it still seems acceptable. It is a pity that this model does not have the option of an external microphone.

    In my opinion, there is room for improvement in the operation. For example, you can't delete unwanted stations, but there is a favourites list. To get to it, you need to press a button; for me, that's one too many while driving, and you never need the "normal" station list, which is immediately accessible...

    Installation was relatively easy, of course you always have to improvise a bit with such retrofit solutions. A holder for a ventilation grille would have been desirable. Of course, you could also build your own magnet somewhere.
