Got it from Apple today 11am delivered, and installed it while working with the wireless migration assistant from my old iPhone. During the installation you need to update to OS 14.2 - but it goes smooth and fast - Display, Sound and Handling are superb, price i was willing to pay (pls no comment about that ;0)), Battery life keen to learn more. Perfect size and first conferences done successfully

It does not get any better

It is only a slow evolution and no longer a revolution. In the end, you have to buy every feature. Somehow the air is out. But what else do you want to buy.

    Pro

    • Everything the old iPhones could do
    • Mag Safe (an induction plate does it too)
    • 5G no noticeable improvement
    • Blue is different

    Contra

    • Plug not incl.
    • Mag Safe not incl.
    • So much glass, you need insurance
    • Cases are so expensive, others buy phones for the same price.

    Really Max

    Pro

    • Video recordings are awesome.
    • Great design
    • Apple's usual good workmanship
    • The stabiliser during filming is top. This is where the Max clearly scores over the Pro.

    Contra

    • A little too big for my hands
    • It is a little heavier in the hand. Not immediately noticeable, but noticeably heavier after a while.
