    Great phone at a steep price

    I switched from an iPhone 6 to the X, and as expected, the difference is striking. The first thing you notice is how easy it is to use the phone. Immediately after setting it up, you notice how little you miss the home button. FaceID works in 99% of cases on the first try and otherwise on the second try, is very convenient and makes you forget the home button quickly. Gradually, the other features become more important. The truetone feature of the display is noticeable when you hold the iPhone next to other displays and see how much more pleasant the colours of the OLED are, plus the very sharp resolution, on which you don't notice any pixels. The X also has a very pleasant haptic feedback, it doesn't have a big impact, but I like it, and the sound from the speakers is excellent compared to the 6. With normal use, including playing apps, I had about 40-50% battery left after a day, where in comparison my old phone was already empty at 3pm.

    I would also like to mention the camera. Thanks to the dual camera, really amazing photos can be taken, even with the front camera. Thanks to the OLED display, they look really great.

    Everything else, from the IOS side, feels the same. And there are still a few aspects that are annoying.

    For example, 90% of the apps are not yet X-optimised, which can lead to black bars being displayed, so some of the precious screen is lost. It's also a bit awkward to use with one hand.

    It is very pleasant to "work" with this phone and to use it, I think Apple has done almost everything right, except for the price, which is debatable. Those who can afford it will be happy with it. If you think it's too expensive, you can do without it, it doesn't reinvent the mobile phone, but it does offer a few features that make the price worthwhile.

    Best iPhone yet

    Easy to use and handle, screen quality is great, page changes and application changes are fast and immediate.

    Definitely worth the money...

    For years, finally an iPhone that feels different despite the familiar operating system. The workmanship is top-notch as usual. The display is great. The colours are rich and yet not too oversaturated. I am very happy with the device. The bezel-less display is really fun! The two cameras are great! I especially love the portrait mode! The battery life is probably somewhere between the iPhone 8 and the 8 Plus. The performance in general is fantastic!

    The only downer is that some apps have not yet been adapted to the display format! But this will certainly happen in the near future. However, it has been solved brilliantly so that it doesn't really bother you to have to use apps that are not adapted at the moment.

    Many fear that the pairing for the sensors at the top of the display would be annoying. This is no longer noticeable after a few hours. The face unlock function works perfectly. For me, it is a comfort gain!

    You get used to the new type of operation very quickly. I now like this type of operation more than the old version!

    Many people are now asking whether it should be an iPhone X or an iPhone 8. The price is very exaggerated, but the display itself and the battery alone offer great added value. You have more display space even though the design is compact. I would choose the iPhone X again. The surcharge over the 8 is worth it.
