    Finally a (conditionally) worthy successor to MagSafe! But there are also better ones...

    The plug can be easily inserted into the socket and easily removed again by pulling axially. I have to note here: I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch from the end of 2017. According to various forums, the USB-C sockets are slightly narrower on MacBook Pro 2018. This may be the reason why the cable does not work for some users. They should order a cable that is explicitly compatible with the 2018 version (e.g. from Amazon).
    According to the manufacturer, the connection is compatible with 87 W charger or with MacBook Pro 15 inch. I can confirm this: with the above-mentioned charger, the charging process is just as fast as with the Apple cable, and the plug does not heat up significantly. If the cable is not pulled axially, the magnetic connection comes loose very easily (it is less tight than with MagSafe 2), but this is not a disadvantage in my eyes. The cable is braided with nylon, sufficiently flexible (more than the original from Apple) and makes a very high-quality impression. The length of 1.5 m is optimal. Attention, the cable is only intended for charging, so no data transfer (a user here complained about this - and obviously didn't read the instruction leaflet...).
    Update from 5 April 2019: Over time, I noticed that the magnetic holder from Baseus was a bit too loose... and ordered a LAMA cable (not from Digitec) with the same functionality. It's clearly better: the magnetic connection is just as tight as with Magsafe 2, plus data transfer is possible (whether as USB 2 or USB 3, I don't know yet). In addition, LAMA is presumably compatible with MacBook Pro 2018 (the connector sits a little looser in my Macbook Pro 2017 than Baseus). Maybe Digitec can add this part to their inventory?

    USB-C power supply ONLY -- NO USB 3.0 data transfer

    This cable is (currently) labelled as USB 3.0 in the online shop. Unfortunately, however, it does not support any data transfer, but only charging via USB-C.
    This fact is unfortunately not apparent from the product description     / specification.
    The product therefore had to be returned.
