My final choices were the QC35 II, the Sony WH-1000XM2 and the Sennheiser PXC 550. I finally tried all 3 in the showroom and the QC35 II is simply the most comfortable. Since I wear the headphones for several hours in an open office, this was my main reason for buying them. The Sony has better sound but is not nearly as comfortable. I also find the Google Assistant button very useful in the office. The mic is top notch and making calls with the headphones works great. The only downside is that the headphones only work with an audio cable while charging. Also, the battery can not be replaced. So if the headphones have been around for a few years and the battery life is getting shorter and shorter, you'll probably have to buy new headphones. This is a cheek for such an expensive product.
