Scale overlooked

I bought the trailer for my grandson so that it could be attached to the dump truck that I had already given him. Of course, I didn't know what scale it was, or it didn't occur to me to check. The trailer has a scale of 1:16 and the dump truck a smaller scale. The trailer arrived without the hitch mounted. I had to mount it first, which I did without checking the scale. Unfortunately I couldn't get it off without breaking something. It is certainly quite stable, but unsuitable for dismantling. So I couldn't send the part back either. Too bad! more
