The software supplied is poor

With the software supplied, the results are very poor. So there is no reason to buy the Elite version of the Spyder X. With the software supplied, two screens calibrated side by side look totally different. In addition, the screen looks different after each calibration. The open source software "DisplayCAL" is a bit more complicated to use and it takes longer to calibrate the monitor, but it delivers excellent results.
Since I cannot recommend the Datacolor software and the Spider X PRO and Spider X Elite are identical in construction and only differ in the software supplied, there is no reason to pay the extra price for the Elite.
