    Works

    Works, does what it's supposed to do. I had to come up with the idea that you can plug the small connector into the USB 3 socket of the X-T2.

    triggers remotely

    does what it is supposed to - remote triggering. The distance is limited to the relatively short cable. So rather a short distance for triggering ;)
