Sound bad, design top, completely overpriced

I thought the design of the GPO Brooklyn Boombox was totally cool and I really wanted to have it. Then total disappointment: the sound is no better than the sound of my discounter CD player (50 euro device), but the GPO Boombox costs almost five times as much. I found the sound so bad that I would have sent it back even if it had cost 50 euros. Very bad value for money in my opinion. The mids are missing, the tweeters are too quiet in relation, the bass is very undefined and booms unpleasantly. An overall hollow-sounding, muddy sound. Reminds me of my sister's cheap portable plastic "compact" stereo from the 80s. If you only want to turn up the volume on rap music, this might be enough. Otherwise I would recommend: Hands off! I sent it back immediately. more
