    4.2GHz loose from the stool

You're running perfectly. Even if I demand a little more from you. You also follow a fast beat in a disciplined way, without interruptions and disturbances. Thank you. Thanks also to Intel for training you well. The 4.2 Ghz are a piece of cake for you. But I don't want to push you to do more, because I want you to be by my side for many years to come.

    Nice CPU for gamers.

I am satisfied. I didn't want to pay the premium to the 6700K; and 4 cores seemed enough to me (so no HT).
Since it's fairly new, I still need to test the overclocking potential. (With MSI board.)

    Super!

First of all, I would like to thank Digitec for the fast delivery.

The packaging is as simple as usual for Intel.
Contents are the CPU (packed in the usual mini plastic tray)
    An installation description (rather sparse,
also in German...) and an "Intel Core i5" sticker.
ATTENTION: There is no cooler included!

ATTENTION: If you "strap" your CPU cooler too tightly, you risk the CPU breaking/bending with processors of this base!
The CPU was tested under the following conditions:

    - ASUS Maximus VIII Gene mATX
    - NZXT AIO WaKü X61
    - 8GB HyperX FURY black DDR4-2133 DIMM CL13 Dual Kit
    - Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
    - 120GB Samsung SSD EVO
    - Thermaltake 530W Hamburg
    - BitFenix Aegis Red

I exchanged the fancy piece of technology for my FX8350, because despite overclocking it is a crutch.crutch because thanks to Intel's singlecore performance and amazing multicore power, I can enjoy any game with about 40-50 fps more.in combination with a GTX 1060, gaming is really fun now.
Overclocking to 4.5Ghz is possible without problems, but what for? There's not that much of a difference when gaming.Idles at 30°C and goes up to 38°C (WaKü) with The Witcher 3, when all 4 cores are used evenly, thanks to the excellent porting. All current games like GTA V, BF1 or Skyrim run smoothly on maximum settings (1080p). If you have an FX8350, you will notice the difference immediately.

Image & video editing is quite fast and more than sufficient for me. However, if you want to do video & image editing more often, you should rather go for an i7 6700k, as it offers 8 threads thanks to HT.
