I looked at many benchmark comparisons before I bought the CPU. I found the 9600k to be a good price/performance CPU. Until now I had an i7 4790k running. Unfortunately, my motherboard gave up the ghost. Unfortunately, I found that the 9600k didn't perform as well as expected on the stock clock. Rainbow Six Sige ran at an average of 75 FPS with my GTX 1080 (1440p). I had FPS drops that made the game unplayable. Fortunately, the CPU can be overclocked very well. It runs very stably at 5 Ghz and barely gets above 65°. I cool it with the Kraken x62 water cooling system.

I also bought the processor after some consideration.choice was an i7 8700k 9700k or i9 9900k!
My decision was based on price performance; And I find a 6core for today's games I zocke -1080p FHD/Gsync 24Zoll 144Hz Mainly (FPS) absolutely enough. In addition, the Mobo z370 gaming-F from ROG and a 2080s.After Bios and chipset update runs the combo absolutely smoothly.
I don't need 4k.since I mainly play multiplayer.and who needs 4k 27inch today to play a Rainbow six siege PUBG or COD challenging has not understood.had until now always smaller problems such as Mobo Maximus XI i7 8700k and 1080ti.not the power/performance I have now.

Super CPU! I had the choice between this and the i7. In retrospect, I don't regret buying the i5. The CPU is overclocked to 4.7 Ghz and delivers a great result in conjunction with the GTX 1080 TI.
