Good idea, poor implementation and, compared to slightly more expensive turntables, far inferior not only aurally but also visually.
Don't get me wrong - of course you can't compare such a compact player (which is quite cheap for a turntable) with high-end, top-designed, "gold-plated-jack-and-swarovski-diamond-needle-with-real-carrara-marble" turntables. And yet, I would recommend spending more money, saving up, and buying a real record player for twice the price (or even more, if you like). Unfortunately, the disadvantage (especially in the lower price range) is that you still have to buy a phono amplifier (which is available in many brokis).
But if you want to get into the vinyl business easily and cheaply (as I once did) and just want to rummage through your parents' dusty and scratched record collection at home (and at best digitise it), this system is the right choice.
It's just a shame if you buy brand-new records and then damage them with a thing like this the very first time and still want to appreciate the audio quality.
It's not a bad product per se, it just serves in the lower (to lowest) ranges in terms of quality and price range.
So you don't get my purchase recommendation for this hundred-franc record scratcher, I regret this purchase in the meantime, as I have also acquired higher demands (and new records) among other things - however, everyone must discover or know it for themselves personally.
