The MSI Gaming Pro Carbon fits very well with my Corsair 750D case.
The design of the board and the workmanship also offer no reason for criticism. This also includes the discreet lighting and the placement of the LEDs on the board.
The installation was very easy. I was able to keep the alignment of the screws from my old mainboard.
The setup in BIOS and a subsequent installation of Windows on the 1TB M.2 SSD from Samsung also went smoothly. Thanks to the support for the installation of drivers by MSI Live Update, for example, this is also done very quickly and in an exemplary manner. Unfortunately, not every programme fulfils its purpose, for example Mystic Light where some settings are unfortunately not usable. In some cases, the various RGB programmes clash with Mystic Light.
In conclusion, it can be said that MSI has presented a very high-quality motherboard with a well thought-out design with the Gaming Pro Carbon. It hardly offers any cause for criticism and with a price of less than 200 francs, you can't really go wrong with the board.

Gigabyte Geforce GTX1080 Xtreme Water Cooling
M.2 Samsung Evo 1TB
Corsair Obsidian 750D Tower
Thanks to Digitec for the mainboard

I have received the motherboard a few days ago, my opinion :
- I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check it out:
. A cd for the drivers, practical
. the back cover, nice with the MSI logo
. . 3 fan extensions (which can be very handy depending on your tower)
. 2 sata cables
. a SLI connector (for 2 GTX)
. stickers
. an installation manual (very clear and detailed)
. a user manual, relatively classic, which details everything.
So a complete and quality box for a high-end configuration.
- The appearance of the motherboard is magnificent, a very nice metallic finish that I appreciate, which makes this motherboard more "solid" and I appreciate the use of chrome for the visual. When switched on, the lights are also very nice. I've been using the Mystic light software (MSI) to customize the motherboard light, very complete software with interesting options (colour according to the T° or breath or meteor style).
- The software is very complete with interesting options (colour according to the T° or breath or even meteor style) and is very easy to install thanks to the pure design. I like the fact that the rams are far enough away from the socket. Because depending on your ventirad it is important to have enough space.
- The bios is the most beautiful I know of and allows for extremely simple and quick setting of your parameters. This is the bios I prefer at the moment.
- Test of the motherboard with my configuration i.e. :
. GTX 1080 Ti
. 32 GB Ram DRR4 3000 MHz
. I7 8700K
. SSD 250 GB
I've been using it for some time now and it's a great tool to get the most out of it. I've been using it for a long time now and it's a great tool to get the most out of it. I appreciate the audio quality which I find very good.
To conclude I would say that it is a very nice motherboard with a lot of possibilities, very complete. Perfect for a high end configuration for absolutely all tasks. I recommend it!

I got the board for testing purposes.
Switching from Z170 to Z370.
The installation with the drivers is a breeze..works as it should.
MSI does this better than Asus.
However, the software - e.g. fan control, automatic OC is not exactly user-friendly.
The LED lighting is not a must-have, but it is great to look at.
I am satisfied with the board - although with mixed feelings.
Nevertheless, thanks Digitec for sending it to me. What you give to the community is ingenious!
