The lens is top, much faster than the 1.4...
The lens is top, much faster than the 1.4 and considering the low price it is my holiday lens on the d600. Finally a lens that I use without a protective filter without a guilty conscience!
However, it is an imported product, which I only noticed after buying it.
note: for currently only 13.- more you can get the CH-product with 3 years CH-guarantee! Look a few lines further down!

I have had this brilliant lens for some time and...
I have had this ingenious lens for some time and am absolutely thrilled. 1A quality even at open aperture.
Attention! On Nikon cameras without a built-in AF motor (e.g. D3000, D3100, D5000, D5100, etc.) the autofocus does not work by nature. So before buying, make sure that you have an AF motor (from the D90 onwards) or that you can do without autofocus. The focusing aid on the cameras mentioned is extremely helpful and simple.

One of the most underrated lenses of all ...
One of the most underrated lenses of all time - I have had ethical 50mm lenses. But this is the one I keep coming back to. Buy one while Nikon is still making them!
