    Would buy again.

    The product comes without a SATA cable, but I simply ordered the "Value SATA-3 cable (50cm)".

    Samsung's "magician" software allows you to check whether the firmware is up to date and whether you are getting full performance.     In my case, I got the wrong plug.

    Furthermore, the SSD was not recognised immediately. Instead, I first had to assign a volume to the SSD with the help of disk management (Windows key+R -> diskmgmt.msc in my case) and then quickly "format" it, which is done with a mouse click.

    Would my father have been able to do it? Nope.

    In terms of performance, it's great.

    Of course, I transferred a few multiplayer games onto it first, so that I'm sometimes the first and not always the last to start the game. (Be it PUBG or CSGO).

    The installation frame is not included, so it's hanging upside down somewhere. Out of sight, out of mind.

    Installed as a new hard drive for my MacBook Pro (2011) - now works like new. I ordered the Samsung hard drive with the necessary tools ("OEM Tool Kit Screwdriver and Bit Set") and a chic anti-static wrist strap ("InLine Antistatic Wrist Cuff") as well as a case ("ICY BOX IB-AC703-U3 SATA/USB Adapter for 2.5" SSD/HDD") to continue using the old hard drive as external storage. I found instructions for the exchange on the Internet, and it was all very easy - even for me, a non-tinkerer. And the difference to before is striking.

    The price is not suitable for pensioners' wallets :-)

    I thought my old 850 pro was faster but it's not a great SSD very fast great price great guarantee everything great.
