Good price / performance ratio - Of course, not as good as the nvidia high ends. But cheap!

A card that delivers quite good performance for the price. Games run smoothly and it's easily enough for my needs.
However, the Linux driver has one or two problems with OpenCL and since I expect Darktable and similar graphics
programmes to use OpenCL, I am a little disappointed. I had to go to an earlier version of the driver.... But I hope that the problem will still be solved.
In the games, I saw one or two graphics errors in Dragon Age Inquisition that were not present with nvidia. You could definitely notice that.
The fans aren't exactly quiet either. However, that could just be my copy.

    Pro

    • Inexpensive card with a lot of performance for the money
    • Runs well under Windows and Linux

    Contra

    • Driver stability
    • Games that do not support AMD ideally here
    • OpenCL-Issues
    • Fans are too loud, even at minimum speed

Good entry-level card for gaming in 1080p resolution.

Mainly play Fortnite with it in 1080p resolution. Sonnet external eGPU enclosure connected to my MacBook Pro (2017).

Under macOS I achieve a sad 20 to 30 frames. Using GPU hack under BootCamp (Windows) and external monitor,
60FPS easily possible - even 80 to 100 FPS (but set 60 FPS as limit). Probably even 120 FPS or more possible, but TB3 port on the MBP only supports half the bandwidth of the PCI channels or something, didn't quite get it (please correct me).

Update: Will return the card due to incompatibility with macOS 10.14.1, too bad (external monitor stays black).

    • Quiet fan
    • Apple BootCamp compatible (GPU hack)

    Contra

    • Rather high power consumption
    • Problems with macOS 10.14.1 / Dell Monitor

Very good graphics card for 1080p

Very good graphics card for 1080p. Most games run on highest graphics setting at 60+FPS (1080p). Ventilation is very quiet. But there are currently some driver problems (Overwatch).
