The cooler has immense performance in the range of the Noctua NH-D15(S) for significantly less money and much better compatibility. Even with ridiculously large RAM modules, there is no fan in the way. Likewise, Scythe considers the large VRM coolers of modern boards in the design and constructs the cooler to fit.
The included fans are also excellent and the accessories allow for a third fan to be mounted. However, the utility of this is questionable.

Installed together with a Ryzen 3700x. Absolutely quiet, even when overclocked.

Scythe does everything right with the Fuma 2: The dual tower air cooler is powerful without causing space problems in the case and RAM. On top of that, it comes with quiet stock fans and offers a commendably simple mounting system. My Intel i7 10700 never runs above 65 degrees when gaming with this cooler. He always runs between 50-65 degrees when gaming and otherwise at idle always on 30 degrees
While it can't compete with the Noctua NH-D15, which has been unbeaten for years, that cooler is significantly bulkier and comes with two larger fans. Instead, the Scythe Fuma 2 is almost on par with Noctua's NH-U12A. However, the Fuma 2 can leave other dual-tower coolers like the Thermalright Silver Arrow T8 or the SilentiumPC Grandis 2 behind.
