    Meets expectation

    Black cable for white device is visually unsuitable

    Better 2 x Play 1 if only used as music speakers

    Sound significantly worse than 2 x Play 1 (even with Trueplay), as TV speakers ok, as music speakers not satisfactory for the price if you don't use the additional functionality

    More negative than positive. In any case, too expensive for that.

    TV mode: The Beam is a good upgrade to the speakers built into the back of the TV. (😁)

    Music playback mode: The sound, especially the surround sound or the stereo feeling, is surprisingly modest; they sound very quickly     tiring/lazy or simply do not resolve enough. Can't compete with 2x Play ONEs (as a stereo pair) - they sound worlds better than a Beam. But... the Play ONEs can't be connected to the TV, so you almost "have" to buy the Beam.

    If you pair two ONEs as a surround system with the Beam and let the two ONEs work a little more, the surround sound is greatly enhanced.

    Leaves mixed feelings... don't think I would buy the Beam again.
