Perfect addition for the stereo system

Perfect replacement for the old FM tuner of my stereo system. FM, DAB+ and Internet radio now with a single device and thus limitless radio enjoyment possible. The smartphone app works well for me (contrary to many other opinions); so the device can be controlled comfortably from the sofa and also switched on and off.
The network player is designed for the Windows environment with UPnP; additional software has to be installed on a Mac to use the network player and that does not work as elegantly as with iTunes and Airplay (otherwise I would have given it 5 stars).

    Pro

    • Easy connection to the WLAN via the network wizard.
    • Good DAB+ reception even with the included throw antenna
    • Operation also possible via smartphone app
    • CD player integrated
    • Simple operation
    • Top price/performance

    Contra

    • Network player rather oriented to Windows environment
    • Connection for cable antenna only possible with adapter

    Can do (almost) everything

The name TechniSat does not sound very sexy, but the many functions of the device are even more so.

    Pro

    • Analogue stereo system is digitally upgraded
    • Volume control via remote control

    Contra

    • Bluetooth receives signals, but (unfortunately) cannot send them itself, e.g. to BT speakers.
