I have been using the AP for three months now and can draw the following conclusions.
Range: the initial situation is a three-storey Minergie single-family house; up to now I had a Fritzbox (ground floor) and three Fritz repeaters (first floor + basement + outdoor area) in use. The new TP-Link AP on the ground floor is mounted in the middle of the ceiling and covers the whole house including the outside area, but only in the 2.4 GHz range. Accordingly, with very limited bandwidth. For the 5GHz coverage, I continue to use the Fritz repeaters (upstairs and downstairs). Only the repeater in the outdoor area I can really save.
2nd management: For this I use the Omada controller as a container on the QNAP. This works perfectly so far. Everything desirable is offered in terms of functions, even for high-end home users. I use several SSID's with different WLAN's in connection with a Cisco switch and a Mikrotik router.
Performance: very good in the 5GHz range, average in the 2.4GHz.
4. stability: very good.
