    Good and economical device with high speed.

    Runs with high speed and good range, firmware however not yet perfect. I strongly recommend installing the latest beta firmware 4.0.27 or newer (status 03/18/2019), as the previous official one still has various bugs.

    • low power consumption (approx. 10 W)
    • UniFi software
    • Good price for an 802.11ac Wave2 1733 Mbps device.

    Contra

    • Firmware is still quite unstable with 4.0.21, beta 4.0.27 is much better
    • No rubber feet, slides on the table (is very light)
    • UniFi software needed for setup and changes

    Small and powerful

    Good performance, detailed evaluation of the Wifi networks and configuration in the controller possible, more for network "professionals" less for beginners.

    Pro

    • Good transmission power and speed
    • Smaller than other Unifi APs
    • Detailed overview of Wifi networks and devices is possible on the controller

    Contra

    • Still needs controller SW on PC or controller box for configuration
    • Less suitable for beginners
