    Very good access point

    Actually wanted to buy the UniFi AP AC-PRO. Then I decided to buy the AC-LITE because of the availability. Overall, I am very satisfied. The setup worked within a few minutes without even the slightest ambiguity. I was very pleasantly surprised and wish this was the case with all products. The access points have now been in operation for two weeks and work perfectly. The range is better than with the WLAN router from UPC Cablecom (not the Horizon box). I now have one AP installed per floor, giving me excellent coverage of the house.

    SchuKo-Gate

    Germany, you beautiful country that opens the door for us from the high-price island of Switzerland to the wider world, you who can offer us more affordable prices for the same products, I love you. But where there is much light, there is also much shadow: The SchuKo plug. Honestly, since the first time I came into contact with you: I hate you. Mr Wilhelm Klement should never have let you see the light of day on 24.12.1929, but he did... Which is why I have no choice but to let you share my life. According to the Swiss standard SEV 1011, you shouldn't even be allowed to show your face in Switzerland! But we don't want to be like that, in connection with a fixed adapter which can no longer be removed, you are allowed to enter Switzerland with a SchuKo plug. It doesn't make you more likeable, but more bearable and what's even more important, you don't violate the law! Be careful, because the Heavy Current Inspectorate is keeping a watchful eye!

    To cut a long story short:
    Dear Digitec, deliver type J / type 12 plugs or a fixed adapter for SchuKo plugs with the product. Of course, after the telephone complaint, they immediately sent one, but that can't be it. You are responsible here, not the consumer.

    Ubiquiti UniFi AO AC-Lite is a top product, 5 stars, the deduction is for the SchuKo gate.

    I can really recommend this AP.

    I have two of these APs at home and am really satisfied. Maybe a bit oversized for home use, but in my opinion still absolutely worthwhile. The range is actually very good, but (as with most devices) the signal doesn't really get through thick walls.
    I first had only one AP which I configured. When I later bought a second one, I could more or less connect it and take over the configuration.
    PoE adapter is also included
