For this price, a very good product.

This is my first contact with the 3D printer world. The printer came in a sturdy shipping box and was protected from damage with various styrofoam parts and cable ties.
My first print was already a success in my opinion!
It was a lighthouse that was already available as a demo on the printer.

A friend who has a lot of experience with 3D printers then "tweaked" the settings to test how much speed is possible. (approx. 40-45mm/s max.)

The two boats are extra models to test the printer. The left one I printed with the original printer software and a layer thickness of 0.3mm.
The right one is already printed with the software Simplify3D (0.2mm layer thickness). I can recommend the software to everyone, the additional 150.-- is clearly worth it! The software works with almost every 3D printer and is constantly being developed further. As you can see in the picture, the right model is more accurate, which is also due to the less thick layers, but at the same time, for example, the hole in the exhaust is much more accurate and less "collapsed".

And despite the much better accuracy, the right boat was printed faster in the end, because Simplify3D calculates the waypoints more sensibly and is therefore more efficient.

I haven't tried the scanner too much yet but I'm more satisfied than most tests. You can't expect a scanned object to print 1:1, but if the surface is as suggested by the scanner and the object is not very reflective, the results are acceptable.
I can upload more images or answer questions on request.

    Pro

    • Price/performance (printer and scanner in one!)
    • Fast commissioning
    • Print results vivid at the first go
    • Filament also compatible with other manufacturers

    Contra

    • No webcam (I have installed a Raspberry Pi Cam)
    • Unit is very large and heavy
    • "Remaining print time" very inaccurate (Simplify3D shows it quite accurately)

All in all...a good printer for little money

    + price/performance is right
    + prints well
    + easy to use
+ noise level is still ok
    - print plate can only be heated up to 100c
    - calibrating the printing plate is not easy
    - scanner inaccurate
    - third party filament
must be attached to the printer with an additional holder ( holder can be printed)

The printer is suitable for people who want to get into 3D printing. If you make an effort with the settings, you will get good results.

The video "Does it suck" above is very true.

I wanted the printer to produce model parts.
A belt wheel of 5mm thickness and 20mm diameter could not be printed in usable quality with the supplied ABS filament at a layer thickness of 0.1mm. With the same file, the Creality
Ender 5 Pro delivers flawless results.
The printer does not meet my expectations by far!

    Pro

    • Closed case
    • WLAN

    Contra

    • Not even the included examples lion and lighthouse come out error free
    • USB connection for firmware update does not work
    • Print bed calibration cumbersome, manual would be faster and easier
    • Software rudimentary
    • Firmware: everything runs sequentially from start to print start takes up to 10 minutes.
    • Louder than some open models
