3. Meinl Octave Steel Tongue Drum - D-Kurd - Black Engraved
The Meinl Sonic Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum is made of high-quality stainless steel. It features a central bass tone in the middle, surrounded by eight additional tones. Each of these eight tone fields consists of two tongues that produce the sound in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound similar to that of a handpan. On the underside of the drum, there is a sound hole that can be closed with a silicone plug to make the sound even more compact. Additionally, there are three silicone feet on the bottom to prevent the drum from slipping. You can play the Octave Steel Tongue Drum with mallets or, if desired, with your fingers.
