Question about Peak Design Capture

Bought the Peak Design Capture Clip&Plate and it would actually be a great thing. But... I have 3 different photo backpacks and I can't mount the PD on any of them because the straps are all more than 5.5cm wide. I didn't read that anywhere in the specifications. Very sad :-( Is this Peak Design Capture Clip also available in a wider version so that I can use it? I don't think everyone who bought this Peak Design Capture Clip has such narrow shoulder straps, do they?

I have also had this experience. The old version of the Capture Clip was much wider. It is probably no longer available anywhere. I can't understand why PD has changed this for the new version. A faulty design.

Thank you for the information. My LowePro hiking photo backpack also has a carrying strap 6.5 - 7 cm wide.

If you use a PD-Propad horizontally (instead of vertically as in the video) as with the belt, you can mount the part on straps up to a width of approx. 75 mm.

I also have wider carrying straps, but there is a possibility because there is a strap running across the carrying straps on my photo backpack. This strap is sewn onto the carrying straps in various places, so you can mount the clip on it.
