Question about Forerunner 55 - 509660

You can use it for swimming. Due to button operation there is no malfunction in waters as you might experience with touch display control.

It definitely can bear swimming, didn't try jumping into or deep diving and also avoid spa and sauna because a previous model failed after many years in a spa.
About measuring swimming activities I can't say, because I rarely have the opportunity.
