The patented rim design of the DC72E1 is anchored directly to the steel structure of the basketball hoop, allowing it to withstand more than double the load compared to rims attached to a glass backboard. The DC72E1 features two welded backboard supports that are twice as strong as unsupported backboard supports. Both the upper and lower supports are held by not just one, but two steel reinforcement blocks, which significantly reduce rim vibrations and enhance structural integrity.
