The Women's Larice Light Pants III from Vaude is a lightweight women's softshell pant designed for sporty ski tours. What sets these pants apart is the combination of three different fabrics. The pants are made from two stretchy and lightweight materials up to the calves, while the lower part features a strip of abrasion-resistant, elastic Cordura material at the leg opening. This makes the pants much more durable. Even when using crampons, the pants remain intact, making them ideal for mountaineering. The leg opening can be adjusted with a zipper, allowing the pants to fit over wider ski boots, preventing snow from entering the boots while skiing in powder. Reflective elements on the pants enhance overall safety. The pants sit comfortably and securely on the hips with an elastic waistband and adjustable width. The pre-shaped knees enhance freedom of movement and increase comfort. If it gets too warm during the ascent, the sides of the pants can be unzipped for better ventilation to help regulate temperature. Additionally, there is a front pocket sewn into the pants, which is practical for storing a phone, energy bars, and more. They are 80% windproof, breathable, water-repellent, have an athletic cut, and are very elastic, all while being climate neutral.
