It is plugged into the car's cigarette lighter and thus supplied with power. It is also possible to control the light of the garage door opener independently of the garage door's operation via the radio car transmitter. Additional connected lights, such as the Schellenberg LED garage lighting, can also be switched on and off separately with the car transmitter. With little effort, the Smart DRIVE radio car transmitter is tuned in to the garage door drive and ready for use. It transmits at a frequency of 868.4 MHz and has a minimum range of 15 metres in the open field. The radio transmission is scan-proof, which means that unauthorised persons cannot intercept or manipulate the radio transmission.
