The Tesys U control and diagnostic unit is plugged into the base unit LUB38 or LUB380, providing a compact motor starter for 3-phase motor applications up to 18.5 kW at 400 V. It offers full protection for motors with a rated current Ir of 9.5 to 38 A (Ir adjustable), overload release class 10, short circuit at 13 x Irmax, overcurrent at 14.2 x Ir, phase failure, and insulation faults (device protection). It features a thermal overload alarm that can be used locally with a LUFDA module or remotely with a LULC module, as well as a test button for overload simulation. It is designed for use with a 24 V DC power supply for controlling the starter (via the control terminals A1/A2 on the base unit). Certified for use in conjunction with a LUB power supply (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC), compliant with Green Premium (RoHS/REACh).
