Product details

Protect and renew your residential construction projects. As an addition to the Resi9 system, the Resi9 FI/LS switch "Compact" in 1 TE helps to protect your devices and electrical installations, making them safer. Its compact design optimizes space utilization, making it the perfect choice for renovation and residential construction projects.

The Resi9 FI/LS switch, Type A – 6,000 A, is a residual current protective switch with an integrated circuit breaker. The FI/LS switches ensure comprehensive protection of final circuits (short-circuit, overload, and fault currents) and are tested according to IEC/EN 61009-1 and IEC/EN 61009-2-1.

The protection includes:

  • Protection of persons against direct contact (≤ 30 mA)
  • Protection of installations against insulation faults (≤ 300 mA)
  • Protection of installations against fire hazards (≤ 300 mA)
  • Protection against overload and short-circuit
  • Switching and disconnecting circuits.

Type A detects pure sinusoidal as well as pulsating DC fault currents and is required for the protection of circuits or individual household appliances such as washing machines or dryers.

Optimal residual current protection for persons and installations with our new compact Resi9 Type A FI-LS 1P+N 10A from Schneider Electric. This compact FI/LS 1TE (18mm) is used at a network frequency of 50Hz and an operating voltage of 230V AC, with a short-circuit capacity of 6kA at 230V AC according to EN/IEC 61009-2-1 standard.

The rated residual current is 30 mA, Type A, and trips at AC fault currents without saturating up to 6mA DC fault currents. It can be used at an operating temperature of -25°C to 60°C.

A mechanical red indicator shows the tripping of the circuit breaker, as well as a separate mechanical red indicator for the residual current tripping of the FI protective switch on the front of the device. The test button is marked with a "T." Pressing this button allows the functionality of the protective device to be tested.
