I wouldn't recommend it, rent a disc sander where you can stand, then you can use the Bosch machine along the edge. For the corner, however, you would also need a triangular sander. Remember, depending on the wear marks, you would have to sand down approx. 1 - 2mm, a lot of work for a small machine.

Hey Lukas! That will probably be possible, but you'll spend a lot of time bent over on your knees... Have you looked into renting a proper unit? Otherwise, I can recommend the unit, it's not too noisy, but of course produces a lot of dust. I always mount the hoover. Good luck with your project!

Off topic but did you get a quote from ofri.ch? I have the Bosch machine, but I'm not a specialist, so I don't have any other advice.
