The F-4S Phantom II "Black Bunny" is a unique supersonic multirole fighter that has made its mark in aviation history. The most notable and famous use of the "Bunny" design comes from the Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Four (VX-4) of the Navy at NAS Point Mugu, California. This squadron is responsible for the operational testing of advanced aircraft systems. In this role, the bunny head adorned the tails of some of the most legendary fighters of the U.S. Navy, including the F-4 Phantom II.
The COBI model consists of 608 high-quality building blocks and allows for the construction of the legendary F-4S Phantom II aircraft in the "Black Bunny" version. The licensed set replicates the aircraft in a 1:48 scale with great attention to detail. It features movable ailerons, an opening cockpit, removable landing gear and weapons, as well as characteristic prints. The set includes a display stand made of building blocks and a plaque with the name and scale of the aircraft.
