This community mask/face mask is not a medical product and is not a piece of personal protective equipment. It has neither the appropriate certification nor has it been medically tested.

Face coverings do not filter germs or viruses from the air and do not protect you or others from the transmission of SARS-CoV-2, as no protective effect has been demonstrated for these masks. Even when wearing a face covering, regular hand washing and maintaining a safe distance from others remain the top priorities!

The face coverings should be washed after each use and then completely dried. The manufacturer's instructions for the washing process should be followed. Please also note any manufacturer guidelines regarding the maximum number of washes after which the strength and functionality of the face covering may no longer be guaranteed.
