Tray 1 and 2 support various standard, recycled, or fine paper types as well as glossy paper ranging from 60 to 256 g/m² in sizes A3, A4, Executive, JIS-B4, JIS-B5, Letter, Legal, and Ledger (Tabloid). The upper tray 1 can hold up to 200 punched sheets and is equipped with a "Tray Full" sensor. Tray 2 can accommodate up to 2200 stapled, punched, or offset stacked sheets. Each stapled set can include up to 50 sheets with 4 staple positions (5,000 staples) and is also equipped with a "Tray Full" sensor. The lower tray 3 supports paper sizes A3, A4, JIS-B4, Letter, Legal, Ledger (Tabloid), Super Tabloid (30.48 x 45.72 cm), and SRA3. This tray supports saddle stitching for up to 18 sets with 15 folded pages per set (75 g/m²) and is equipped with a "Paper Present" sensor. When using a finisher stand model, the standard output capacity decreases to 100 sheets. The capacity of tray 2 is reduced when using the stapling function. The punching function and offset stacking are only supported by tray 2. The 2500-sheet tandem tray or the 2 x 500-sheet tray is required to raise the printer or MFP to the appropriate height for using the finisher.
