The statutory warranty often expires faster than you would like. Therefore, we offer you the option of extending this warranty period by 1, 2 or 3 years for a large number of products. You have the chance to add this warranty extension upon purchasing the product.
The warranty extension is an insurance product of Helvetia Versicherung-Aktiengesellschaft. The insurance covers the financial consequences after expiry of the statutory warranty of technical faults due to material, design and manufacturing defects. The insurance coverage applies to Germany and for temporary travel worldwide. An exchange or replacement by voucher is possible once per insured device.

Please note that during the regular statutory warranty period as well as in case of a warranty extension, technical defects caused by external influences (e.g. a fall, water or damage due to wear and tear) are rejected by most manufacturers.
Filing a claim
In the event of damage to your insured device, please report this to us via the service case process. It guides you through the steps you should take to resolve your issue. Claims for damages during the extension period are settled exclusively by our insurance partner bolttech Europe Agency GmbH.
