The academic book "Climate Policy Under Intergenerational Discounting" by Jonathan Orlando Zaddach examines the effects of a discounting model derived from Krysiak (2010) on optimal climate policy. In this dissertation, the discounting model is analyzed in the context of the DICE model, and its implications for climate policy are discussed. Zaddach also conducts a sensitivity analysis to assess the robustness of the discounting approach. The results indicate that the proposed model is inadequate in considering consumer autonomy and intergenerational equity.
