Your responsibilities

  • Planning and optimization of pickup routes for prepared shipping orders across various shipping channels and logistics partners (letters, parcels, LTL freight, transfers, etc.).
  • Dispatching of special transports / additional routes or cancellation of scheduled routes to ensure daily outbound logistics requirements are met.
  • Troubleshooting and support for complex cases directly related to last-mile logistics topics.
  • Coaching of team leaders and employees on contractually defined shipping strategies.
  • Driving sustainable process optimizations within the last-mile logistics area.
  • Monitoring SLA performance metrics of individual shipping partners.
  • Managing various system-related tasks within our in-house developed ERP system.
  • Supporting operational procurement in the area of consumables and packaging materials to ensure daily logistics operations.

Your skills

  • Completed vocational education with a federal certificate of competence, complemented by further training in logistics and/or process management.
  • Strong hands-on experience in operational logistics processes gained through previous professional roles.
  • Proven experience in project work, with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
  • Enjoyment of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a structured and clear overview.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, enabling the extraction of relevant insights from large and growing data sets, as well as the identification of patterns and anomalies.
  • Ability to adopt different perspectives, quickly grasp complex interdependencies, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, along with good English proficiency; knowledge of French is a strong advantage.
  • A willingness to challenge «how things have always been done» and propose more efficient, automated, or effective solutions.
  • Aligning actions and decisions with personal beliefs and values.
