As the top Swiss e-commerce platform, with a crew of over 4’000 across Switzerland, Germany, and Serbia, Galaxus is poised to move into new markets. Our driving force is our determination to keep challenging the status quo. That’s why we’re on the lookout for characters who’re passionate about making genuine improvements. We’ll give you the freedom and trust to make an impact, to grow with us and to be yourself. Act galactic. Be you.

At our logistics site in Neuenburg am Rhein, we are building one of Europe's most advanced logistics hubs. With a second, significantly larger warehouse opening by mid-2027, the site will grow to more than 1,000 employees. In this dynamic growth phase, you will play a key role by building the Continuous Improvement (CI) function from the ground up, introducing Lean principles, and shaping processes and culture from day one. Reporting directly to the Site Management, you will work closely with the central CI team in Switzerland and actively influence the future development of your own team. The site's international environment, located close to the French border, offers a diverse and collaborative workplace.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop the CI roadmap for the Neuenburg site
  • Build the local management system and support its implementation
  • Prioritise improvement opportunities based on impact and urgency
  • Introduce Lean methods such as 5S, standardised work and structured problem solving
  • Lead Kaizen events and implement improvements together with operational teams
  • Coach managers and team leaders directly on the shop floor
  • Define relevant KPIs and make progress visible
  • Build and lead a local CI team with support from the central CI team

Your skills

  • Several years of experience in Continuous Improvement or Lean within an operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean methods and structured problem solving. Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
  • Experience in building or further developing a CI function
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills
  • Pragmatic, accountable and implementation focused way of working
  • Confident communication with managers and operational teams
  • Fluent in German with good working proficiency in French and English
  • University degree or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience

Why start with us?

  • Values, not empty words: Cooperative, innovative, piratesque, responsible, ambitious – these five values are what we practise and preach
  • Courageous thinking: We encourage everyone to think on their feet, and love it when they come up with bold or edgy ideas
  • Uncomplicated approach: Simplicity is at our core. We avoid the unnecessary and focus on what really matters – from overcoming challenges to celebrating our shared successes
  • Flexibility and freedom: Every position is possible with an 80% workload
  • Rapid growth: With us, growth is a continuous journey. We also support you with EDU points (1600 € or 2000 minutes) per year for your professional development so there’s no risk of you getting stuck in a rut
  • More benefits: 28 days of holiday, exclusive employee conditions in our online shop, a shuttle service and other benefits.

Diversity is our culture.

To build the best team, we want to draw from the full spectrum of talent out there. This means people from all walks of life have the same opportunities with us, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age. We believe true inclusion means everyone is welcome and each contribution is valuable.
