The C480 B is the preamplifier for the ultra-linear capsules of the CK61, CK62, CK63, and CK69 ULS series and represents one of the quietest microphone amplifiers ever built. The C480 B offers excellent audio quality and maximum flexibility. The electronic circuit combined with a transformerless output stage ensures an absolutely linear transmission characteristic across the entire frequency range while achieving self-noise levels close to the theoretical minimum. A specially designed output stage drives difficult loads such as long cables without compromising signal quality. The C480 B features a two-stage high-pass filter and two gain settings of either -10 dB or +6 dB.
