Product details
The Calliope mini is a microcontroller designed as an educational tool for children starting from the third grade, typically under adult supervision. The Calliope mini demonstrates that everyone can code - and have a lot of fun doing it. The entry point is easy, allowing children, teachers, and parents to get started without prior knowledge. From the first self-programmed blinking light to self-driving robots and Calliope mini swarms that communicate wirelessly: with just a few clicks on a connected computer, users can create their own programs for the microprocessor that bring the Calliope mini to life.
The Calliope mini Starter Box includes a board and accessories:
- Battery holder with batteries
- USB cable
- Booklet for the first computer-independent applications and one with programming examples
- Rubber band (for securing the battery compartment)
- Stickers.
Includes MotionKit 2.0: The MotionKit 2, featuring two powerful motors, an integrated line follower, an infrared sensor, and an ultrasonic sensor, can be assembled in 5 minutes, allowing for immediate programming. With the new MotionKit, you can set your Calliope mini in motion. Let it drive along a line, control it remotely with another Calliope mini, or turn it into a drawing robot. The possibilities are endless. The MotionKit 2 is programmed in makeCode.
