The third generation of the Eyb Megaswitch® is an advancement of the previous Eyb Megaswitch®. It is available in 5 variants and offers more switching options with easy handling. Many other details have also been significantly improved:

1. 20% less weight
2. All contacts are gold-plated, including the rotor contacts. This means better contact and a longer lifespan.
3. There is no need to keep specially made knobs on hand. All standard US knobs can be used (available in black, white, cream, ivory, gold, chrome, or as a Tele barrel knob).
4. The switch can no longer fall apart, as the central connection screw has been eliminated. This screw could loosen in the previous version or break under tight fastening.
5. The lever can no longer break, as steel sheet is used instead of cast iron.
6. More options with fewer variants and less soldering effort due to the use of solder bridges. This significantly reduces the need for jumper cables. The circuit boards have 2 holes per connection with a diameter of 1.5 mm, making soldering work much easier.
7. Thanks to the special mechanics, the lever engages more precisely and does not get stuck between positions.
