Description SainSmart Mega 2560 R3

This is the new Mega 2560 R3. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the Mega now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the Atmega8U2 chip. This allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. No drivers are needed for Linux or Mac (a .inf file for Windows is included and available in the Arduino IDE), and it is possible to use the Uno as a keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc. The Mega 2560 R3 also now has SDA and SCL pins alongside the AREF. Additionally, it has two new pins near the reset pin. One of these is an IOREF, which allows shields to take the voltage from the board. The other is unconnected and reserved for future use. The Mega 2560 R3 can be used with all previous shields but can also be adapted to new shields that access the additional pins.
