The portable analog refractometers from Kern's ORA series are maintenance-free and designed for easy operation. With multiple selectable scales, manual conversions and operator errors are eliminated. The scales are specially developed, accurately calculated, and tested. They feature thin and clear lines. The prism cover and optical system are made of special materials. Measurements with low tolerance are possible. All Kern ORA models come with an eyepiece. The adjustment for different diopter strengths is simple and hassle-free. ATC models feature automatic temperature compensation. The housing is made of a copper-aluminum die-cast alloy with a chrome coating. The refractometer is designed for sugar, salt, industrial/automotive, or expert applications.
