Protection scope: In case of a fault in the connected electrical device, protection according to DIN VDE 0661. Fault currents caused by defective consumers lead to multi-pole disconnection by the PRCD-S in case of system faults in the fixed installation. The PRCD-S detects all possible faults in the fixed installation and cannot be switched on afterwards. The PRCD-S detects foreign voltage on the protective conductor but does not interrupt the protective conductor connection. The foreign voltage can thus be released through its own upstream protective devices FI and LS. Application and function: Specifically designed for construction sites and fire service use according to recommendations from the professional association for precision mechanics and electrical engineering, as well as suitable for all portable electrical devices.
