The Wavestate module brings all the features of the Korg Wavestate mkII into a compact tabletop format with a 19" rackmount option. In 1990, Korg's legendary Wavestation introduced the world to a technology called wave sequencing. This technology transforms raw samples into unprecedented compositions and layers them in a unique way. The later released Korg flagship models, OASYS and Kronos, took wave sequencing to new heights, and now we can enjoy the fruits of this product development in a modern form. With the Wavestate's user interface and its new approach to wave sequencing, this technology has been elevated to a new level.

The Wavestate is anything but a nostalgic reissue – it is designed for a new generation of musicians and fits seamlessly into the world of modular synthesizers, groove boxes, and generative composition, while also accommodating more traditional approaches. The compact device is portable for gigs and fits into smaller studios.

The Wavestation MkII improves upon the first generation by increasing polyphony to 96 voices and giving the device a new look.
